Embed local video file (not youtube url)

Hi,

I have a requirement where I need to send a newsletter in which the video files should be enabled. All those video files are in my local drive.

Can anyone pls help with this.

If you look at Bonus Tip #2 in link, you'll see that you can make the path be any URL or local file path. Just put in the correct file path to video, and you should be good.

@Luke M : sorry I dont have this running in my excel frame.
As you mentioned, I tried bonus tip#2 but it's not happening :-(

Instead of inserting a shockwave player, you may need to insert a "Windows Media player" depending on your file type. Then give the path (with extension) to your file in the Properties box "URL"

@Luke M . Finally i got it done.
By any chance, do you believe we embed images this way? I have 100's of pics in a local folder and would like to embed one by one.
Any idea to achieve this? each pic would be ~ 2MB in size and practically bloat my excel file if i attach & send them. Please advise
