Hi,

I'm having a huge chunk of data, I would want to have the headers appear as the column names when I scroll down.

Please share your ideas as to how to make the columns "A", "B" appear as "Sales","Profit" etc when ever I scroll down to next page..

Thanks in advance,

Jaggu

Hi, njagadish!

Tried immobilizing top (first) row? In Excel 2010/2007: View tab, Window group, Immobilize drop down, Immobilize top (first) row. If you wish to retain first column too, click in cell A2, repeat up to drop down, then Immobilize panes.

Regards!

Hi njagadish,

Which Version of Excel you have been using? Following works for EXCEL 2007.

Solution No. 01: Freeze Pans, go to "View" Tab, Click the cell from where you don't want things to move, eg if your header is in row 1, click on cell and use freeze pans > freeze top row.

Solution No. 02: If you want you header to be printed on each page when you print it or view it as Page Layout, go the Tab "Page Layout", Select "Print Tiles" and select row you want to repeat on each page and click Ok. (You may need to unfreeze panes to view in page layout)
