Editing a pre-existing pivot table (Excel 2007/2013)

Hi,

I've inherited a bunch of different Excel tools containing a whole range of pivot tables. My question is: How do I bring up the pivot table builder so as to amend an existing pivot (e.g. change what's in the rows/columns) in Excel 2007/2013? If I right click on it, I get nothing but the standard right click menu.

Thanks in advance!

Hi PipBoy,

Have you tried the following:
  1. select your Pivot by selecting one of the cells
  2. Go to the pivot options via the menu ribbon: PivotTable Tools > Options
  3. Click on the "Field List" in the ribbon, section "Show" (for me on the right side of the screen)

I admit, some aren't pivot tables, but some definitely are. I have the option to refresh them, does that indicate that they're pivots?

Under which tab in the ribbon does one find PivotTable tools?

EDIT: Oh man, in big gold letters it clearly says 'Table Tools' in the ribbon. My apologies!
