Hi Ratan,

Please see attachment, there are other techniques that uses named ranges and bla bla to do this. You can google and follow them. This one uses a helper row.

Can we do like, the October data is a BASE so can we show that data like a base line in the chart and we would have bars from November data.
Please advise if it can be done?

For Example for Q1, the value of Oct is 58.38, so a horizontal line should go from Oct to 28-Nov. and then we have bar chart of 07 Nov to 28 Nov. is that correct.

Ok, Please see attachment. Please note that my clock is showing 5.00 pm local time so soon i will be off for home. You may have to wait for response in that case. :)

Okay sir, whatever query I shall have, I shall have ask.. and thank u so much sir, I will take help form yourself for my dashboard

You are welcome, was last upload OK?? I do check forums at home so you don't need to worry that much. :D
Sir, the update you have provided me with, if I select 3OCRW, then there is no Base Line of Oct.
And another point which I am looking for is I do not want the data in bars of OCT as this is base and it will be shown as line like targets. Then rest comes in columns week after week. This will work this way.
If we are in first week of december, then score of November will be targets or base to check how the performance going on. Then weekly columns will be added. So data needs to be prepared that way sir

I hope, I have put some light for which I am looking for.

Hi Ratan,

Please see attachment.

P.S: By the way, we here behave just like friends and brothers, there is no need of using "Sir". Instead you can use a more common suffix i.e. "Bhai" a very common one in Indian Sub Continent. :) or i am simply comfortable with "Faseeh".

Made some changes to the "Multiple Q" sheet. You can choose any base line here. Did this while leaving for home so may not comply fully to your requirement but would be a "Food for Thought". :)

Thanks.

I have made some changes to the chart which I have been preparing...
Please check as I am uploading the file.
But,in that chart, I am unable to get the base line from the axis line, it is starting from the bar. I need to make it right. Please check and advise the same.

Hi Ratan,

You have not understood the concept of using secondry axis to plot a scatter graph used for creating base line, here i have left in tact the rough work so that you can see what happened earlier.
