Duplicating sheet into a new workbook

Hello all I am trying to take a sheet and duplicate it into a new workbook and then run various filters. I am also having trouble on naming the new workbook. Thanks for the help!
 
I would recommend you start by recording a macro of you doing all the actions you want. Most of what you described is fairly simple to do yourself, and the recorded macro will give you a good start. Two of the lines you'll use are
Worksheets("My Sheet").Copy
and
ActiveWorkbook.SaveAs "C:\My Documents\My New Book.xls"
