Duplicates values in the Pivot Table filter

Hi chandoo
I have a table named 'Journals' where I've entered payments by 'Unit number', but in my Pivot table under the sheet 'Owner-Payment Remittance', when I select the unit that i want to filter by i see 'duplicate' values of the Unit numbers ( in the selection pop-up), (not all of the unit numbers are repeated though, only some ). I've tried following instructions how to fix this from other queries in the forum but i don't seem to come right. Any help perhaps ? Thanking you in advance. i have attached he workbook

unfortunately is not doung the trick for me.
I hava pasted this screen so you can see what i refer to ( refer to the double entry of Unit B002 ( shown twice for selection in the filter) , when there shoudl only be one item for UNit B002 display for me to select from ?

Did You ReFresh that Pivot-table after above?

... and same time few other 'duplicated' has gone.

Hi again and sorry
is actually devastating , as i have refreshed all the tables and i still cannot get rid of the duplicates.
Did u change some other settings as it seems I cannot get right sucha a simple thing.
Is terrible to waste your time is such a silly thing but i do not know what else to do .
Any other possibility ?

Now it works .l I deleted the pivot tables and re-recreated them and now it works.'
Typical of excel !!!!

DeSelect Retain ,,,

Refresh

Check ... uniques


If You have other settings then Your case will come again and again.

Yes, typical Excel - the most of time - it works as settings are.
