Does cell A2, A3 etc in sheet 1 ......How ???

Dear all,

I need someone to help me with a Formula or Macro....
Challenge:
(1). Does cell A2 (Cal number), A3 etc in sheet 1 (Dump) match column A in Sheet 2 (Q1), if Yes copy full row to Sheet 1

(2). Does cell A2 (Cal number), A3 etc in sheet 1 (Dump) doesn't match column A in Sheet 2 (Q1), if Yes fill cell "Not a Match"

Hi ,

The problem specification is not clear.

1. Should every CAL number which is present in the tab named Dump appear in the tab named Sheet1 ?

2. When the CAL number in the tab named Dump matches a CAL number in the tab named Q1 , which data from which tab should appear in the tab named Sheet1 ?

3. When there is no match , which cell should have the text Not a Match ?

ANS:
Point 1:- Yes
Point 2:- When we have a match we would need the whole row or at least the Invoice No: & the INVOICE_VALUE

Hi ,

There are any number of TBC in the CAL number column in the Dump tab ; what is to be done about these ?

Question #3 not yet answered.

ANS:
Question #1 TBC - Will have to be listed on Sheet 1 and result shown as "NO Match"
Question #2: NO Match can be shown in any Cell other than A1 Column as there will not be any data picked.
