Do you assign macros to buttons (or shapes) inside worksheets ?

I am trying to understand how often users assign macros to buttons (or shapes) placed inside a worksheet, usually near A1 cell.

Here is an extreme example. A large area of monitor real estate is assigned, limiting data rows.

Good day spreadsheet1

I would have thought that was down to the author in so much as what he wants the user/s to achive when using the spread sheet, if you want the user to enter data and then run a Macro then one button will do the job, how big and flashie the button is, is down to you, personnaly I do not like to much flash because if you have a few buttons and a lot of CF then the file becomes bloated....but if employees cannot use the spread sheet without a lot of flash/bang/wallop/buttons then take the only course left.....sack em :)
