Display every 3 months as a quarter

Hi,


I'm new to excel.

I need help on the following.

I've to display 3 months of a year corresponding to a quarter and so on.

For eg. For Jan '07, Feb'07, Mar '07, the corresponding cells below these should display as Q1-07. Similarly, for April'07- Jun'07, it should display as Q2-07.

I've to do it for 5 years data. For every new year, the quarter year should change (for 2008, the quarters would be Q1-2008..and so on).


Any help would be highly appreciated.

Assuming your dates start in B1:

="Q"&INT((MONTH(B1)-1)/3)+1&"-"&YEAR(B1)

Copy to the right as needed.
