Disappearing macro buttons while rows are filtered

Hi All,

I have come across a problem with disappearing macro buttons when I filtered table then saved, closed and finally re-opened the file. I tried to find some solution for the issue however there isn't any helpful hint for that particular example. Does anyone have some work around ? Many thanks for answers!

I usually have buttons at top of the sheet and freeze panes to keep them visible.

Alternately you can set properties to "Don't move or size with cells" to keep it visible even when cells are hidden/filtered.

Hi ,

You can have your macro buttons on the QAT ; however , since they can be clicked irrespective of which worksheet is the active sheet , you will have to ensure that the macro can run only on the appropriate worksheet(s).

Hi
thanks for answer but please precise which Excel version do you have 2010? Or the newest? I have noticed that the version 2013 does not have the issue but in 2010 it appears... unfortunately I have version 2010 at my current work. I have tried the solutions proposed Chihiro and it works but it looks like not so professional. Do you have any other proposals?

Upload sample workbook, demonstrating "not so professional" look that you are not happy with and your desired display.

At any rate, I use Excel 2007, 2010, 2013 & 2016 at my job (though I primarily use 2016).
