Disable Text Box Related to Cells

Hi Everybody,
I am using excel 2010. When I click on cells on one column, a text box will pop up with information related to that column. How can I get rid of this text box.
I really appreciate if somebody knows ho to disable this text box which I think it has a link between the text box and cells on that column.

Hi ,

This is due to the Data Validation which has been set up for the relevant cells. You can click on Data , Data Validation , Data Validation , Input Message.

Uncheck the checkbox which says : Show input message when cell is selected.

Thanks Narayan,
On this file Data Validation is gray out.
Also, The file is opened in compatibility mode. because most part of my file ii like gray out, and I am not able to change anything.
How can I fix it?

Is your worksheet protected ? If so , then you need to unprotect it before anything else can be done.
