Disable adding/deleting rows or column

Is there a way to allow users to make changes to the worksheet but disable adding/deleting rows or columns functionality in the spreadsheet?

Try this

if you have version 2002 and above you can do this via tools / protection /

protect sheet, in 2010 via the review tab

first unlock all cells (select all cells / format / cells - protection -

untick locked)

then choose tools / protection / protect sheet - tick everything except

inserting & deleting columns & rows

click OK
