have a massive 190MB 400k+ row access database
(i took the data into access from excel since performance and file size was resulting in excel frequently crashing).
I have to create several reports from this table.
I want to know what is the best way to create several pivot-able reports from a single source but keep file size at a minimum?
As of now, I read the raw data in Excel via external source in access and then copy the same pivot across 15 tabs and modify it along?
I read about Powerpivots, but is that more for creating pivots from multiple data sources?
Suggestions welcome.
