Dependent Drop Down Lists

Hey. I know that you can make dependent drop down lists by making categories. That then allows you to make a dependent list on another dependent list, ect. Is there a way to make a bunch of lists dependent on just one main drop down?

Here is the example worksheet. Is there a way to have food color and type of food dependent on food group? We did it this way by making categories, is there an easier way to do this?
