Delete row in excel 2007 with no text or any content in the row

Hi buddy,

I have a data with unequal blank cells in a table, moreover there are also lot of blank rows in the table.

So I just want delete all rows with no text or any content in the row so my table looks as I want.

FYI, I have used filter option but unable to do it with that.

Thanks & Regards in advance,

Jignesh

Hi, jigneshkumar.hingu!

May I suggest you to change your nick name? It's too long and it overlaps the comment area making it unreadable (Click on your name, Edit). Thank you.

Hi, Jignesh!

I say nothing more that not it doesn't exceed the dedicated area and doesn't overlap messages making reading easier.

About your question, the table is an actual table (created in the Insert tab, Tables group, Table icon) or it's a range of adjacent cells?

Regards!

Hi, Jignesh!

Try doing this:

a) Assume your data ranges from A1:D5 with titles in row 1

a) Create a new column adjacent (before 1st or after last column) to or in the middle of your table

b) Place anything as title and this formula on first cell of data rows and copy down thru row 5:

E2: =CONTARA(A2:D2) -----> in english: =COUNTA(A2:D2)

c) Enable filter for this new column E

d) Filter data with criteria equal 0 (zero)

e) Select all data rows filtered (not title row)

f) Right click on the selection, delete rows

g) Set filter off

h) Remove column E
