Date Filtering with Charts

My fiscal year is December to November. I have a set of sales data in a chart. The first column is the last day of each month. So A2 (there is a header row) is 12/31/08 and A37 is 11/31/10.


Can I filter this data set by my fiscal years without checking off the months manually in the nested year/month categories in the filter menu?
 
You need to add a helper column with a formula to convert, possibly something like this:

=YEAR(A2+1)


Then you can filter on this helper row for the desired fiscal year.
