Date DD-MM-YYYY

Dear Sir,

actual date is mentioned 11-03-2017 but excel shows 03-11-2017 how do I convert the same to March 2017.
Text to column is not working in this case.

if You're sure then test next
1) Select those 'dates' [A2:A24]
2) Format that range to 'General'
3) Custom-format to 'mm-dd-yyyy'
>> for me looks 11-03-2017 (and in formula bar 03/11/2017)

Text to column should work if you do this way:

Next > Next > Date > MDY > Finish
