For some reason, when I try to copy data from one specific document (doc1) and paste it into another document (doc2) with data from other sheets, (paste option is not grey, so I can still click on it/also use ctrl+v), nothing pastes. It will paste into a 3rd blank document, (doc3) just fine, though. (But i don't think it has to do with the previous data, because other data not from doc1, will paste into doc2, without any issues.
I think it has to do with doc1. (This is a doc of monthly data, and each month, a new doc is sent to me, with that month's data organized in the same way as previous months.) Data from the previous month, copies and pastes into doc2, with no issue whatsoever.
The cells I copied are in general format, and the cells above where I tried to paste them to were in number format. I tried converting the data to number format before copying and pasting it didn't change anything. I also tried changing the format of the cells above it to general, and the same issue continued to happen.
Has anyone had this issue before, or do you have any ideas on what could be causing this to happen?
