Data Validation using a list - each entry can only be allowed once

Is there a way to set up Data Validation so that each item in the Data Validation list drop-down cannot be selected more than once? For instance, with the following list:


Drop

Down

Box

Both

Once


If I select Down, then Down will not be an available choice for any of the other cells in the Data Validation range.
