Data that is indented in a pivot table row does not stay

In a pivot table under PowerPivot, and in pivot tables I used before PowerPivot, when I put the cursor on a line and the little arrow appeared indicating that all similar lines would be affected, I increase the indent so my rows are somewhat staggered. It looks nice. Then when I do different drill downs, or as in this case, I collapsed 2013 then expanded it again, the indent gets ignored and the data in the rows goes back to the left as though I did not do any indents. How do I preserve this formatting so the indent stays.

Before: This is when I increase the indent to achieve the stagger

After: The indent goes away after I do some filtering or collapse then re-expand
