Hi Chandoo et all,


How are you this fine Friday morning? It's cold and snowy here in Michigan so it is a good time to go over Excel. I'm having understanding data table so what I would like to know if I can make a data table involving sports statistics (something I can relate to rather than npr stuff). Lets say I want to make a data table involving goaltenders and their save percentage. Can I set something up like that? Just wondering and messing around no hurry. Thanks for your assistance, Joe again.

The short answer is yes, you can put what you like in the table, give your columns Name headers and then when you create the table that's where the filters will be placed also with a table setup this way if you create a pivot table handling and manipulating your data will be a breeze ( but not a cold breeze as in Michigan :) )
