Dear Chandoo,


Let me first thank you for your excellent job and for all the help i get on your site.

Coming back to my question, i have a huge database (about 30,000 rows) with people names, dates and comments (in seperate columns). I have prepared a data retrival form where in i can pull up data of a person using VLookup on the last name. The challenge i have is if 1 person has mulitple entries and i need all of them seperately how do i get it. The retrieval form only picks the first one. Please help.

You could either run (either manual, or setup a macro to perform) an Advanced filter using the person's name as criteria. Debra has a good introduction to Advanced Filters here:
