Data Label Value Alignment

Respected Sirs,

Kindly let me know how to fit the data label in the chart horizontally for all the characters.

The column width is 25 and the chart size cannot be increased.

Thank you so much.

with regards,
thomas

Thomas,

I think you can double click on the data label and hover your mouse over a corner (the mouse indicator will change to a double-pointed arrow)...then resize the data label text box.

See attached -- is this what you mean?

Respected Sir,

Thank you for this information.

I tried double click and but could not get the double pointed arrow.

The problem is the if I have been told not to change the font size.

When we change the font size it is fitting, but the font size should be 10.

Respected Sir,

Thank you for the link, but could not get the desired result.

From the link:
sorry, but here is bad news. Formatting of data labels and some other aspects of chart text labels is either not possible or a real pain. In the case you describe it's not possible. Excel does not have any handles or parameters to manipulate the format of the data labels.

But found a link on custom data labels.

Thanks once again,
