A Pivot Table is normally not meant for data entry ; it is a feature of Excel which allows you to summarize information for display-only purposes.
There may be tools / add-ins available which allow you to enter data into a Pivot Table , but in my opinion , this should be avoided , since data entry should be done in only one place , and not from multiple sources.
