Dashboard .xlsm file throwing errors on open

Hello,


Sometimes my dashboard is throwing an odd error on open. After "recovery", my freeze panes is removed, and I can see headings and gridlines (which I usually hide). Other than that it seems the dashboard is fine. I use some mild VBA to show/hide charts, and change formatting of cells. The file is about 4 MB.


Any ideas what could be causing an error? I usually redo my freeze panes, hide the lines and headings and save again. This usually works but randomly at some save points in the future the error happens again. I get more details and get this:

On open it says "Excel found unreadable content in 'Name of File.xlsm'. Do you want to recover the contents of this workbook? If you trust the source of this workbook, click Yes."


These issues started when I began using freeze panes on the dashboard, may have something to do with that?
