Custom number format for cubic feet?

I'm trying to apply custom number format for cubic feet. Cell E7, has an example of what the result should look like. However, when I try to do that in custom number format in cell G7, I can't do a superscript. I also tried using a ^ and that didn't work.

Is there a way to do apply a custom number format for cubic feet?

... how?
I find it from my fonts and pasted it there.

I don't understand. I typed in 3 in a blank cell and applied a superscript. Then when I copied that and pasted into custom number format, it went in as an ordinary 3, instead of a superscript 3.

What steps did you take?

My way:
#1 activate any cell
#2 Insert > Symbol...
#3 Search 3
#4 Click a superscript 3
#5 Copy result of above for use
Or
You could try to use Unicode Character “³” (U+00B3)
Or
Google superscript 3 in excel
For example, to create a custom number format for superscript 3,
type 0, press the Alt key, type 0179 on the numeric keypad, then release Alt. Click OK

To create a custom number format for superscript 3:

1] type: 0 ft

2] then press the Alt key, type 0179 on the numeric keypad, then release Alt.

Remark:
Superscript 2 Alt 0178
Superscript 3 Alt 0179

It worked. Awesome. Thank you.

Interesting. So it looks like 0179 is uniquely associated with superscript 3. What is 0179 called? I don't think it's called Unicode.
It is called Excel shortcuts

However
  • These shortcuts work for Calibri and Arial If you are using some other font, the character codes may be different.
  • The numbers with superscripts are turned into numeric strings, meaning you won't be able to perform any calculations with them.

I know about keyboard shortcuts, but I didn't know about shortcuts. If you know of any good sources (websites) I would be interested in it.
