Hi All,

I am in a desperate help as its my first project in Power BI and I have a serious problem. I would appreciate any small help.

I need to created Balance sheet Report and I have to a column in table which has "Descriptions" which are Duplicate and have mapping Local Account Values in a different column which are either null or have values which are same or different.
Eg :
Clientes C=2111+219,D=2111+219
CLIENTES 211+212+218000+219
----------------------------------------
CLIENTES GERAIS TOT 211110:211120
CLIENTES GERAIS
-----------------------------
These Descriptions are not available from SQL DB from where we are pulling Local account and their Debit/Credit values. So I am creating a custom table with all Descriptions and measures to map the accounts. But I am unable to create Duplicate Measures as I get below error even if its Uppercase

Customer does not want to comprise on Descriptions and want exact same names displayed in report. How can I fix this??

You know that you can use a custom name for any of your measures on the visuals? Right click on the field in the visual



As you are importing the definitions, you can do an initial rename to "tmp", then the name of the measure can be without tmp. hence you wont have any duplicate names.

Yes I know thats an option but I am trying to create measures for those custom table which i created for Descriptions and its now allowing me to create Duplicate Measures

Because you can't have duplicated names in a data model: every names needs to be unique. Hence the renaming options. Could be "Clientes " or
" Clientes".
