Creating monthly, quarterly and annual analysis

Hi,

I was trying to remember how i did this a couple of years ago and i have completely forgotten. What i had was all my accounts listed in the rows and then the Periods across the top. Per the file.

I need the piece in yellow to populate as 1's or zeros. For example if it is P08-18, i need just Cell L1 to be 1, cells K2 and L2 to be 1 and then E3 through L3 to be 1's. If that makes sense. The Tab on the Summary tab in yellow will be the driver.

I now this is a funny ask. Any help is welcome, I just cannot remember the formulas i used at all.

This may be doing what you want, but I'm not 100% sure. If this isn't what you want, a few more examples of the desired output would be helpful.

Hi Mike,

Thanks a million, that's basically exactly it bar the QTD doesn't pull in the 3rd month, ie Q1 would be P01, P02 & P03. Q2 and Q3 follow that pattern then Q4 has 4 quarters included P10 through P13.
