Counting Unique Values Based on Criteria

Guys, need help here. I know SUMPRODUCT can do this but I can't seem to get it right. This is what I have


PO EMPLOYEE

--------------------------

PO-3567 John

PO-4567 Cindy

PO-1234 Cindy

PO-4567 Cindy

PO-9875 Adam

(blank) Adam

PO-5658 John

PO-4567 Cindy

PO-5658 John


I want my formula to calculate all UNIQUE POs for each Employee. Can't use Pivot tables because there are a lot more things involved.


Thoughts?
