Count or identify when Conditional Formatting has been applied

Hi,

As per the attached, I would like to identify which rows have had conditional formatting applied i.e. anything highlighted pink indicates that there has been a change from Sheet2.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

thanks,

In E2, formula copied down :

=IF(ISNA(SUMPRODUCT(MATCH(B2:D2,Sheet2!B2:D2,0))),"Yes","")

Hi Bosco, I know in my example I used the same Employee Numbers with counting the highlights in mind it didn't matter, but I probably shouldn't have, Sorry. It was just to demonstrate how the conditional formatting is working.

To give you some context I have to compare reports for approx. 1,000 employees run at a moment in time i.e. Last week compared to today and highlight what the changes are as it will identify what the next steps will be etc. generate letter, notify IT ....

Is there another way to count the highlights using just Sheet1? if not, I can use Sheet2 as well but will need to incorporate using the unique identifier in a vlookup or lookup function.

thanks,
