Correlation Function using IF AND OR

Iain A

New Member
The following formula is returning a % value of 87.1, but if I change the range of $A:$A to for example $A500:$A5000 it returns an error
=CORREL(IF($A:$A>=2, $C$187:$C$5000,E187:E5000), IF($A:$A<=61,$C$187:$C$5000,E187:E5000))

The purpose of the formula is to look in Col A (number formatted) values between 3 and 60 (number of months) then using correlate to find a stability factor % between 2 columns C & E for those months

Any help is greatly appreciated

I've made them all look at the same cells as your formulae in column E for comparisons, but note that I've had to use one more month in most cases since your formulae look at values, for example, from Oct to Oct including both Octobers, but it's very easy to adjust my formula.

There's a formula (totally not needed) to show in long hand the formula used in myCorrel. It assumes the correlation is between column 1 and 3 of Table8.
