I need to copy existing checkbox form control to new row and have the cell reference move with it. Ideas?

And regarding your issue, you can't do that just by copying. Copying will copy the control but keep the linked cell, since form controls float over the worksheet and aren't tied to any cell, so as to let Excel shift or offset its references.
