Hello,

I am new to VB script. I have not done much of it and I am trying to learn.

Here is what i need to do:

I need the script to search a keyword and copy the entire column to a new worksheet. I need it to do this for the full worksheet.

I tried doing the recorder to search and copy the column then paste it into new worksheet. But it only does once. I need it to search and find the entire worksheet for this.

Please help.

Hi ,

Please upload your workbook with at least a few rows of sample data ; what is required is to know what the search keyword(s) will be , how many columns need to be searched , which column needs to be copied and which is the tab to which this column needs to be pasted.

Upload your workbook with the code you have already got using the macro recorder.

Hy Narayan,

I am unable to do this for school data. Is it possible to get a generic script that searches entire worksheet for keyword and copies it to 2nd worksheet.

I can edit the words and worksheet name. also I could possibly edit the number of columns and rows to search as well.

Hi ,

I am sorry , but it is time-consuming to test the code in the absence of data , and I am not interested to generate the data.

You can always replace confidential data with random data and upload at least a sample workbook.
