Copy and paste but don't bring the trash with you

Hi all --

I have a spreadsheet with some attached graphs. I thought if I made a copy of the spreadsheet then the formulas for "select data" would be for the new sheet instead of the master copy, but it keeps using the master copy to generate the graphs. Any thoughts on how to make the "select data" for the new sheet?
