suppose i write 10,000,000 in cell B10 so automatically result shown in cell B10 is 100 lacks another exmple is suppose i write 20,00,000 so result shown as 200 thousand in cell B10

how it possible

I guess.. you next question will be...

"123456 and it will automatically convert to 1 Lacks, 23 Thousand and Four Hundred Fifty Six"


If not, then we will try to display above also as 12 thousand

(Instead of 123 Thousand, as per your post .. ha ha ha..)

Enter following in custom cell formatting:


0.######,,


Press Control+J, and %%% It should show you 2 for 2 Lacs (200,000)... I got it from Chandoo's Post see this link:
