consolidate info from cells

I have a table with text and empty cells. I want to create a table, where I extract the text and skipping the empty cells.

(in other words, the table with text and empty cells is quite large. I want to create an A4 sheet with just the text (otherwise I end up with 15 sheets where each sheet only has some limited information)

Thanks for offering some help.
I attach a sample
Tab 1 is the information consolidated from another spreadsheet, where a person can choose which task is applicable for the project we want to build.
(It then automatically calculates budgets, cashflow, etc.)
The Group codes are made up of;

(a) a head code (e.g. 42.00 Kitchens)​

(b) sub-code (e.g. 42.01, 42.02, etc...... all the way to sub-code 42.10)​

(c) Group name and (d) subgroup name​

This allows a person to add a subgroup in empty areas.
E.g. sub-group 42.04 is empty and a person could add "China Cabinets"

Because this sample is linked to this other spreadsheet, this spreadsheet then needs to add a line "China Cabinet" with sub-code 42.04 (see sample I made in the Project Administration Tab.) This means that everything should move down one line.

I am a bity of a novice but I really hope you understand and can help....

I tried to figure ... something ... and ... my way.
I did copy of Your sheets.
You seems to like linking ... I would do this ... my way.
This is not ready ... this would need that Your 'reset' from Your liked file ... after ... I could figure - what do You really need?

1) Add it as You would do it normally to the empty sub-group
2) Check that other sheet ... it it there ... even in correct place?
3) You can clear it --- add something else --- and after that ... check again
Something like this?

Ps. I've to rename Your file - because I had already sample.xlsb.​

Hi,
Thanks for trying to assist. Really appreciated.
However, if I am correct, you copied & pasted the cell results and pasted it as values.
I am actually looking for some form of formula that I can use so that rows are automatically inserted when a line is added in the linked file.
Therefore, skipping the empty cells and only reading / writing the cells with values in logical order.

Does that make sense?
Is there some sort of formula I can use?

... that procedure would be eg like You click one button and those 'now linked file's values' would be for use ... automatic ... without links!
As now - with that China Cabinet -case ... or ... any other modify.
... now this sample shows 'needed' data in that the last sheet.
Of course, You can use ... some sort of formula ... many many formulas ... but I won't do that kind.

Now, there are still those links to external file ( in Links-sheet )
... I start to wonder ... please check those links in range M249248
eg M249 has refer to row 819 and O249 to row 816 and P249 to row 819 ... hmm?
Of course, You know those much better than me.
Other sheets values will always update while activate.
