Consequence / Impact Severity Table

Hi,

I am urgently after a formula or a way of extracting information from a table when a certain row and column is selected. The information of where they both meet to appear in the next column.

Please view attached description which should make it clearer.

Thank you so much.

Hi, that didn't quite work... in the description tab column B and C have lists...which are the rows and columns from the table listed in Tab 'Table' so... I want to be able to select any from one list, and any from the other list and have the coinciding comment and colour as per the Table Green, Blue, Yellow, Orange and Red - this is for a Risks evaluation register I have built and they will be those columns with drop down lists. So I need the colour and comment to populate.

I did look through 2way-lookup-formulas however I am short on time and need to get this completed and was not able to find.

Truly appreciate any assist.

Cheers...

Trisha

Ok, you can extract the value with formula, but not color. Since your color scheme follows a pattern, we can use conditional formatting to mimic that behavior in description sheet. See attached.
