Connect Excel to Linux EZC files

A quick search in the Linux documentation says nothing about EZC files.
And if it's supposes to be a native Linux file extension it doesn' exist as Linux does not use extensions

In linux currently there are files with ".df" extension. I am accessing these files using dumptail.x or mx commands to get the contents of the file.

Is there a way to connect to the .df version of the linux file.
 
Those files are not Linux files but from some application. Check the Net to see what is possible with them. Are you working in a Linux environment? Which distro are you using ?
 
You really should be posting on a Linux form, this site is predominantly for Excel and the Windows PC environment.
