Conditional Selection when Building a Chart

Hi Chandoo,

I currently have an excel spreadsheet that is setup as follows:

-Column A - Lis of our Sales contacts

-Column B - Name of our employee that owns that contact

-Column C - Current ranking of the sales relationship (1-3)

-Column D - Goal for ranking of the sales relationship (1-3)

I filtered by employee and created a radar chart that depicted their relationships and current and goal rankings; however when I unfiltered the data, the charts changed.

Could I create the radar charts with conditional formatting? Ideally, it would say: If Lisa is listed in Column B, all of her Sales contacts should be depicted on this radar chart.

I am creating a different tab for each of our employees so that they could just click on their tab and see their radar chart. The radar chart should stay current as they change their rankings on the initial tab.

You should check out some of the conditional charts Chandoo has created:

For instance, this one looks pretty promising:

This is very helpful; but that radar chart uses SUMIF equations. Is there an equasion for including data in a chart if it is the data of X employee. In other words, I do not want to add up the rankings, I just want to portray the rankings in my chart.

Thank you for all of your help.
