conditional formatting

Hello. I want to create a rule for values in Column A, that will change the colors of values if only A1=B1, A2=B2, A3=B3 etc

Hi ,

Select your range , say A1:B10 , and use either of the following formulae :

=$A1 = $B1

=A1 = B1

In the first case identical valued rows in both columns will be highlighted ; in the second case , only the value in column A will be highlighted.

Thanks. But when I made a change on a cell, after applied the rule, the colors doesn't change automatically.
