Conditional Formatting

Hi,

I have faced a problem when I made the conditional formatting. I made a comparison report in excel and have to highlight the changes the values which has any changes from the source value. Eg: The source value is 20 (in cell A20)

The Proposed value is 28 (in cell B20)

I know the conditional formatting for this particular cell (B20). But I have to copy the conditional formatting formula for all "B" column (Because this worksheet contains around 2000 rows). How can it possible??

Expects an early reply from someone....

Hi,

You must change the absolute formula to a relative formula. So if you have $A$20<>$B$20, change it to A20<>B20 and then copy the format down to the rest of the column

cheers
