Conditional Formatting next 7 days

Hello,

I have had a look through the conditional formatting forums to see if there is anything related to me but the formulas that I tried didn't seem to work. So, I am working on deadlines at work and I need to be able to highlight the cells amber that are within the next 7 days but not including today. The other colour will be red and that is for those dates past and including today. I have set up the today formula in cell N1 and the dates are in column I, although I have formatted the spreadsheet to only show the open tasks; do I need to keep the formatting fully open to put the conditionals in?

Any help would be much appreciated!!

What do you mean by getting it wrong with today date, what you have in N1 "=TODAY()" is what is used for todays date! Do not think you will get help on
then other problems >.<
