Conditional Formatting in Column Chart - highlight the max value

I have searched the boards but just can't seem to find what I would have thought as a simple request.

How do you conditionally format the data series so that the max value (highest column) changes colour?

Kind of off that XL lets you have that option with a Sparkline chart:

but not a native chart.
