Hey,
I'm using conditional formatting and I want the flag icons to replace the value so that im just left with a pictorial representation of my project status and not the conditional formatting coding that I created in behind it (if that makes sense).
Abby
You do not need to replace the values with the icons ; what you can do is use cell formatting to hide the values , so that they will not be displayed in the cell , though when you move the cursor to the cell , the formula bar will display the value.
You can have a format such as ;; ( just two semicolons ) to hide all positive and negative values.
I work at MFAT (in the aid programme) im in procurement, we do a lot of benchmarking & analysis and I love excel but have never really taken the time to learn it, just use it on the fly.
Cool. I'm thinking of starting up a Wellington Users group. Drop me a line at weir.jeff@gmail.com if you're interested in joining up. Was planning an informal once a fortnight meet to go through tip, tricks etc.
