Conditional formatting based on date

Hi all,

I am using Excel 2010 and I have a training register with Name, Training A & Training B.
Training A expires after 2 years, Training B expires after 3 years.

I would like to set up conditional formatting so that when these are expired the cell colour changes to RED, and when they are 1 year form expiring they change to ORANGE.

Any ideas?

I don't fully understand the logic in the formula you used but it is working and I have been able to modify it to my version training register
