Conditional Format to differentiate time in excel

Deva

New Member
Good day all,

I would like to know how to format the conditions by differentiating in the excel cells according to am and pm of time.

Attached is here is an example of the file. I really don't know how to set the conditions and differentiate am and pm of time with different colors. And also how to set the time range like 8.00am until 8.00 pm is red color and 8.00pm until the next 8.00am is orange.... is it possible ??
Kindly help me
Thank you all :)

Hi:

Is this what you are looking for?

Thanks

Hi Nebu great thank you. :) but now i have problems in differentiating the colors according to the range? can u please explain to me ?? Because I need to create a bar chart on it... as the the date will be on x axis and the count is on the y axis. and the bar chart will be based on the time range ( red is 8am -8pm) and (orange is 8pm- 8am)

Thank you very much.. n sorry if my wordss are too complicated

Hi:

I am not sure what do you mean by range. If your data is entered in the time format same as the file I have uploaded. You can simply use format painter to copy the conditional formatting to your preferred range. I f you are unable to do so upload a exact replica of your original file here so that we can get more clarity.

Thanks
