Hello

I would like to formula to join cells A1 and B1 into one cell C1 but to put number in second column into brackets.

I tried =A1&''("&B1&")" but did not work please help

Tomas - solution that John has suggested will take care of the question you asked...however, you can also use functions like round, roundup , rounddown & text function

Actually meanwhile I got that on my own :). But I would ask another one. It's not I am lazy on my own but lot of things to learn these days. I need a function to separate numbers like I mean not 1000000 but 1 000 000 because it looked bed in powerpoint

If i understood correctly, you can use custom format...
Press Ctrl+1 > Number > Custom > Type:
# ### ###

But i think this would be much easier to read / understand:
#,##0
