Combobox is not getting selected the value

Dear Friends,

I have date range (mmm-yy) in excel, same named as range. In combo box, row source is updated with range name. when I select the month with current year it is getting selected rightly. but when I select month with a year greater than current year, it is not getting selected current year. tried to google with different keywords.. didn't get any result. could any please look into this.

Changing the format to any one of the following helps :

dd-mmm-yy

mmm-yyyy
