I need to plot a column chart from data with mergre cells. Please suggest a best graph.

Hello,

you may want to re-consider using merged cells. For a chart like the above you need a different data layout. That will also make it easy to add more Assignee groups. Just add a new row of data and include it in the chart.

Thanks for your quick reply. As mentioned by you I need a different layout for my data to plot a chart like the one showed. Can you please give me a sample layout according to you.

I have changed the layout !

My problem is solved now. I kept AssigneeGroups in cols and spread Status along a row as headers. Used PIVOT for the same Col Labels and Row Labels.
