Color Fill range of cells based on different cell content.

I have recieved help already from this forum on separate conditional formatting question, Thanks Luke M. The new issue is color filling a range of cells contained in a row based on a different cell content. I have tried several different codes I found on line but none seem to work. I did not think i would have an issue finding a solution but I was wrong. I have a work book that has several pages with the exact same setup/format. So, for which ever worksheet is active I need to fill C9:H9 (yellow) whenever "New" appears in AE9. This needs to happen for each row up to 286. Thanks in advance for any help or direction provided.

Hi bnpdkh,

Select the range, and try conditional formatting formula:
=AE9="New"
format cell color >>> yellow filled.

Try this works for you or not
otherwise upload the file to get actual requirement.
